Mens Competition
The Spring/Summer 2024/25 season will commence the week of 26 August 2024 and run for 15 weeks plus 2 weeks of finals, excluding School Holidays (September and December/January). The season will finish the week commencing 3 March 2025.
This season there has been a slight increase of $2 per game per player. This is for GST, which the club absorbed last season, however we cannot continue to sustain that moving forward.
The associated player registration costs can be broken down as follows:
MDBA - 15 rounds x $14 (inc GST) = $210.
Basketball Victoria Participation Licence- $43 per Senior player.
Basketball Australia Levy - $5.50 per player
Total Cost for Domestic Season $258.50, an increase of $18 per player for the 2024/25 season.
So, gather your team and register the team name via the link below: Please ensure only the Team Coach* (see notes below) registers the team, individual players do not follow this link.
Mens TEAM COACH Registration Link
Once the Coach registers the team name, they will receive a team participation link to send to the team players. Please do not register without this link. If you need your team link sent to you, please be in contact with me and I can do that.
I will do my best to facilitate Mens comp on a Tuesday night and Womens on a Wednesday night as per previous comps. Until registrations close, I will not know the game times or will be able to confirm the day.
*Team Coach: Previously I have asked for a Team Manager to be registered for each team. Moving forward, all teams must register a Coach instead. The Coach will then be responsible for the team, it’s bench and its supporters for any fouls that need to be assigned. Hopefully this will not happen, as I’m sure you will all read the rules and the codes of conduct and ensure your team players also read such.
Senior Teams are to supply their own team jersey.

Also please note: There will be a Senior Domestic sub-committee, and I would like to have 2 members from both Mens and Womens Comp assist in this sub-committee. You do not have to attend Board meetings, but we will ‘meet’ once a month to discuss matters that arise etc. If you feel you could help out, please let me know.
